Jail break

Description

Seven suspected armed robbers in custody at the Denu Police Station escaped jail on 13th March, 2015. They fled with two AK-47 rifles, and 24 rounds of ammunition belonging to the police.
According to Togbi Amenya Fiti V, Paramount chief of Aflao, the jail break had thrown Aflao and Denu into a state of fear. He said that soon after the incident occurred, an informant who had earlier helped the police to arrest one of the suspects, went on a demonstration by burning lorry tyres on the streets of Denu in protest against the failure of the police to keep the suspects in custody
