Armed Attack

Description

Gunmen on the night of May 25, 2015 opened fire on a group of New Patriotic Party supporters holding a meeting at a location known as ‘Popular Office' in the Northern Regional capital, Tamale.
Leader of the group Alhassan Mohammed Awal says the two armed men on motorbikes rode into the dark place near the meeting venue and begun firing shots at them.
He said they were targeted because they are perceived to be in the camp of embattled NPP national chairman Paul Afoko and General Secretary Kwabena Agyepong.
